Kin: The Fussell Family

The CSU Department of Art held a special reception for artists Cathy Fusell, Coulter Fussell and Fred Fussell at the Illges Gallery, Corn Center for the Visual Arts on May 16th. Music was provided by Jake Fussell. Kin is an exhibition and musical performance exploring the artistic style and inherent connection between Coulter, Jake, Cathy and Fred Fussell. Despite varying origins of inspiration and artistic processes, this family shares underpinning values of history, storytelling, landscapes, and memories in their works. Each have combined their world reflective of their personalities, characters, and gifts.
