THE EVENT: Valley Interfaith Promise (VIP) held their Second Annual Tom Black Compassionate Service Award Dinner at The Ministry Center at St. Luke UMC.
THE HONOREE: Anderson was honored for his many contributions to our community. He is remembered as a shining light in the community, making a difference in the lives of many children through the Springer Opera House.
THE AWARD: The Tom Black Award honors those who have made a significant contribution to helping children or the homeless.
THE PURPOSE: Valley Interfaith Promise is a transitional housing program, which pairs community volunteers with children and their families who are experiencing homelessness.
