The Dinglewood Historic District is a small residential neighborhood that features the Dinglewood House built in 1859, one of Columbus’ most outstanding homes. The house was completely updated and decorated by Dina Woodruff using furniture, art, rugs, and accessories from her Atlanta store Peridot West. Renovations on the home were done by general contractor Johnny Cargill of Johnny R. Cargill Construction and architect Jack Jenkins.

After a long search for the perfect lot in Green Island Hills, the homeowners found a beautiful waterfront property within an existing home. They immediately knew it was the perfect location to remodel into a French Provincial style home, which are characterized by straight symmetrical lines and with an interior which is typically softer, with curved lines and lots of textures from materials like linen, wood, wrought iron and stone.
